The best place to start is at the beginning. Teresa's first recipe was the Quckie Tomato Sauce.
Four ingredients, nice and easy. Just Olive oil, a can of tomatoes, some tomato paste and some chopped basil. Teresa didn't list salt and pepper but I went ahead and added some anyway. I want to try to stay true to her recipes but I think you always need a little salt at least. I did add it only after just trying her ingredients. Sorry Teresa, it did need just a little S & P.
All in one pot, took just a couple of minutes.
10 minutes later and it looks a lot like the picture in the book, so far so good.
It took longer for the water for the spaghetti to come to a boil then it did to make the sauce. I'd probably start the water first next time as the sauce had to sit for a bit, not that it hurt any but for the sake of time it would have just been even easier.
I used the thick spaghetti because it's what we had at the time. The sauce went great with it, can't beat that.
And Voila! A little parmesan and Bob's your Uncle.
A quick dinner that I had no problem whipping up after work. Just a couple of pots to wash aside from the dishes.
So, I asked the resident Chef and food snob, my husband, how he liked it and his opion was "It's a simple sauce that tastes good". I expected worse from him since it was a Housewives recipe but there ya go. It tastes good. I'm happy to make this again, it's great if you want to whip up a nice dinner in a fairly short about of time.

Snobby Husband's rating: I said it was good
Happy New Year and Fabulicious cooking to you all!
